The character of Steve Rogers/Captain America is in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014 (2015), 2014), Captain America: Civil War (2016) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018) as well as Endgame in 2019 earned him even more acceptance.
