Emma
Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson born to British lawyers Jacqueline Luesby & Chris Watson in Paris, France. At the age five she moved to Oxfordshire where she attended the Dragon School. Emma's goal was to be an actor. At the age of 6she was enrolled into the Oxford Stagecoach Theatre Arts branch in which she was taught classes in acting, singing and dancing. Through a school play as well as a Stagecoach show, she took as the lead role at age 10, and acted. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000) The film adaptation from J.K. Rowlings bestselling novel was cast for first time at the beginning of 1999. Emma was discovered by Emma's Oxford theatre teacher. David Heyman informed Emma, Daniel Radcliffe, and Rupert Grint following auditions for 8 times. They were selected as the 3 leads Hermione Gringer Harry Potter Ron Weasley. The debut of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001) was Emma's first cinematic screen appearance. The film set records on the opening weekend and revenues, and was the top-grossing 2001 film. Critics were impressed with the movie and its performances. The Daily Telegraph, a widely read British newspaper, was awed by her for her performance. Emma was awarded five nominations for her outstanding performance. In the end, she received the Young Artist Award in Leading Young Actresses of an Film.
